Magic of Memories Dinner
For the sixth straight year, Paul Mitchell Schools across the country will spend the months of February, March, and April raising money for charitable organizations. This year's supported organizations include the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation, the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, the Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation, City of Hope, Food 4 Africa, and two newcomers: Fran Drescher's Cancer Schmancer Movement and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Emphasizing events that involve personal contact with contributors rather than letter-writing campaigns or other hands-off techniques, the schools focus on grassroots, dollar-by-dollar efforts like cut-a-thons, fashion shows, bake sales, raffles, "Casual for a Cause" days, and other unique ideas.
The popular event culminates in a gala dinner hosted by celebrities and representatives from the supported organizations. This year's event takes place at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach, California, and will be co-hosted by radio and TV personality Leeza Gibbons and TV's "The Nanny" Fran Drescher, with special guests Larry King and Paul Mitchell CEO and Chairman John Paul DeJoria.

From Points South
Follow the 5 (Santa Ana) freeway north to the 405 (San Diego) freeway north. Exit Jamboree Road. Turn left heading south. Travel 4 miles and turn left on San Joaquin Hills Road. Turn right on Santa Cruz. The Island Hotel will be to the left.
From Points North
Follow the 5 (Santa Ana) freeway south to the 55 (Costa Mesa) freeway south to the 73 freeway south (San Joaquin Hills Corridor). Exit Jamboree Road. Turn right on Jamboree Road. Travel 1.5 miles and turn left on
San Joaquin Hills Road. Turn right on Santa Cruz. The Island Hotel will be to the left.
From the 73 Toll Road North
Follow the 73 toll road north. Pay toll at the toll plaza. Go to Bonita Canyon Road, turn left. Turn left on MacArthur Boulevard. Turn right on San Joaquin Hills Road. Turn left on Santa Cruz. The Island Hotel will be to the left.
From the 405 Freeway South
Follow the 405 (San Diego) freeway south to the 73 freeway south (San Joaquin Hills toll road). Exit Jamboree Road. Turn right heading south. Travel 1.5 miles and turn left on San Joaquin Hills Road. Turn right on Santa Cruz. The Island Hotel will be to the left.
